UMP (Ukrainian Marketing Project) is an independent marketing and media research company established in Ukraine in November 1996. The company has directed its efforts towards conducting media research for networks and regional broadcasters, advertising agencies and advertisers.
Since 1998, UMP company has introduced the research infrastructure - ad hoc quantitative, qualitative and panel research studies. UMP research infrastructure represents a well-developed, multifunctional system of various marketing research approaches that allows us to provide any kind of quantitative and qualitative data, including tracking research results.
UMP operational field comprises all the regions of Ukraine. It includes 25 regional supervisors, its own network of 420 interviewers and 25 independent controllers. Each interviewer has passed an obligatory basic training after selection, plus specific training before participation in any particular project. All UMP supervisors and interviewers are well-educated (preferably with higher education) and have 2 to 5 years’ experience in qualitative and/or quantitative marketing and media research.
The research projects are implemented in accordance with the conditions of ESOMAR (ICC/ESOMAR International Code of Marketing and Social Research Practice).
